Daniel R. DiPardo
Mr. DiPardo was born in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania on March 6, 1945 from immigrant Italian
parents. His early childhood was spent in the Oakland area of Pittsburgh and in 1951 his
parents moved to the South Hills (Bethel Park) area. He attended South Hills Catholic High
School and then Duquesne University from 1963 to 1967 majoring in Accounting with Finance
minor. After his graduation he commenced his Accounting career with Peat Marwick Mitchell
& Co from 1967 to 1972 and then joined Price Waterhouse leaving that firm in 1975 to work
for himself. Eight of his forty years in public accounting have been spent auditing and
preparing tax returns for major companies who were the clients of these national public
accounting firms. For the past 30 years, he has been a principal shareholder in the firm now
known as DiPardo Baldacci & Co., P.C.
More recently he has developed not only the accounting and auditing segment of our
practice, but also the taxation and management consultation and advisory services segments.
This enables Mr. DiPardo to provide clients with a full-range of services. Also, he continues to
coordinate the accounting, taxation and management needs for clients to assure our services
compliment one another.
Mr. DiPardo, in addition to his duties and responsibilities with the firm, in the past has
served as an instructor for continuing education courses of the American and Pennsylvania
Institutes of Certified Public Accountants, organizations in which he holds memberships.
In addition to his memberships in the American and Pennsylvania Institutes, Mr.
DiPardo is a member of the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Also, he is a
member of The Club at Nevillewood.
Mr. DiPardo started investing in real estate in 1975 when he and his brother purchased
and remodeled a building at 564 Washington Avenue, Carnegie Pennsylvania. This building
contained four one-bedroom apartments along with Mr. DiPardo's accounting firm occupying
the first floor commercial space. This building was destroyed by fire in June 1980. In 1985 Mr.
DiPardo built a 6,000 square foot commercial office at that location. In 1981 Mr DiPardo
purchased along with a partner the property known as 501 Grandview. This property
contained eleven residential rental units and in 2002 Mr DiPardo purchased his partners
interest. In 1983 Mr DiPardo purchased the commercial office space at 2901 Banksville Road.
This space is occupied by DiPardo Baldacci & Co CPA's, in which he is a majority owner. This
building was extensively remodeled in 2000. During the 1990's Mr DiPardo acquired forty,
one and two bedroom apartments in the Penn Hills area. The apartment building known as
Greenview is located at 6633 Saltsburg Road has twenty-nine one bedroom units and the
apartment building know as Fairways is located at 6703 -6705 Saltsburg Road it has eleven
two bedroom units. Over the years these units have been updated and remodeled.
